Doing still life styling requires an eye for detail and a precise way of working. Bernadette thoroughly enjoys using both in her still life styling, because of her love for detailed design. She will always come up with a strong composition quickly and makes sure she works closely with the (wo)man behind the camera. It is important to look at what the photographer does with light and angle in order to adjust or modify the composition where necessary. Bernadette has a background in Graphic Design which also comes in very handy because she can quickly see and visualise how a 3d composition will work as a 2d image.

With years of experience in the field, Bernadette is available for all kinds of projects. From small projects to big teams, from commercial to editorial and from styling to visual production. Her own studio is located in Rotterdam Noord; a vibrant district near the centre of Rotterdam. This is where she will start her creative process and preparations and where she is even able to design and build all kind of props herself, which can be pretty useful for still life styling projects.
